We’re carrying out routine maintenance on one of our lagoons at the Cohuna Water Reclamation Plant.
Machinery will begin arriving on site from Monday 25 May, with works starting shortly after. The works will involve removing solids that settle in the lagoon over time as part of the sewage treatment process. This maintenance will improve our routine operations at the plant.
During the works, you may notice noise and dust. We’ll aim to reduce this by wetting down the site where possible to reduce dust.
You may also notice more trucks in the area as we transport material from the plant. We expect around three to four truckloads per day.
We don’t expect these works to cause odour, but if you do notice it smells worse than usual or you have any other concerns, please call us during business hours on 1300 363 200.
Your sewer services will not be impacted during these works. Thanks for your understanding while we complete this routine maintenance.
