We're carrying out work at the Pyramid Hill Water Tower site on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 April. This site is located on Railway Avenue, Pyramid Hill and is just south of the Pyramid Hill Water Treatment Plant.
Work will involve removing the old water tower structure, which is no longer in use. The site hosts a newer, larger water tower that stores and supplies water to the town - this water tower will remain in place.
Removal of the old, disused water tower will not cause any water supply disruptions for customers. Your water remains safe to drink.
Noise and dust from the site during removal of the old tower will be kept to a minimum. Pyramid Hill residents may see some machinery at the site during the works.
This tower removal is part of a larger program of works we're carrying out across our region to remove decommissioned and disused assets to create safer work sites for our crews and contractors.
