Water mains cleaning - Marong
- Marong
We’re carrying out water mains cleaning from 15 to 18 September in Marong.
This cleaning is part of the final works being completed before bringing the new Maiden Gully to Marong Pipeline online.
Some customers in these areas will experience a short water supply interruption, as we clean the water mains in their street. These customers will be notified before the interruption, to allow them time to prepare.
We recommend affected customers turn your stop tap off ahead of air scouring works.

Water tank commissioning works - Guildford
- Guildford
We are in the final stages of bringing the Guildford Clear Water Storage Tank online and connecting it to our network.
To improve water security and reliability, we have redesigned the tank, installed new pipework and pressure valves, and upgraded the Fryers Street booster pump station.
The next step is to energise the booster pumps and commission the Guildford Clear Water Storage Tank. Energising the booster pumps is expected to be completed within the next four weeks, with commissioning works to follow.
Once operational, the tank will improve water security for customers in Guildford and Yapeen, provide more consistent water pressure, and help reduce water main bursts and outages.
