Construction and commissioning of the new clear water storage tank at Castlemaine Water Treatment Plant on McCay Reservoir Road are now complete.
The new tank provides additional water storage capacity and improved water security for the Castlemaine community, helping ensure a reliable supply of safe drinking water now and into the future.
We thank local residents and road users for their patience and understanding during these works. Any increased traffic associated with the project has now ceased.

During August we will be finalising the construction and commissioning a new clear water storage tank at Castlemaine Water Treatment on McCay Reservoir Road.
Works are expected to be complete by 31 August.
When completed, the tank will provide extra water security for the Castlemaine community, who rely on the plant to provide them with drinking water each day.
