Complete our Water Main Shutdown Application form online at least 5 business days in advance.
You'll need:
- details of planned works
- relevant documentation
- details of constructions materials
Fees (2022/23)
The base fee for a water main shutdown is $310.45 plus GST.
A Network Operator Cost also applies, which depends on the length and complexity of the shutdown.
In most cases, you will receive an invoice within 30 business days of the shutdown. For more complex cases, invoices may take up to 90 days.
