A small but important percentage of our 130,000 customers are 'business' customers, for which we provide specialist Environmental Protection Agency approved services; notably trade waste disposal for milk processors, abattoirs, a variety of regional food processors, major laundries, hospitals, saleyards and a tannery.

As well as our normal wastewater disposal services, we also offer special Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved trade waste disposal services for larger industries operating or considering relocating to our region.

Our major trade waste customers already include KR Castlemaine, and several large cheese and tomato processing factories in the Rochester & Echuca areas.

Our AQUA 2000 project was completed in 2002, and customers receive world-class treated water - adding even further value to the products or services produced locally, especially in the food processing areas.
