Water Supply Demand Strategy

We finished reviewing our Water Supply Demand Strategy (WSDS) at the beginning of 2012.

This is a 50-year strategy to balance the supply of water to meet our region’s residential, business and community water needs.

The WSDS is reviewed every five years and is a key input into our strategic planning, including our Water Plan.

Every water corporation in Victoria undertook this process.

We submitted the completed WSDS together with the accompanying Alternative Water Atlas to the then Department of Sustainability and Environment and Minister for Water on 30 March 2012.

Copies of the final WSDS and Alternative Water Atlas are available below.
