This plan was launched in 2006 and set out water security plans are for the Coliban System of the Coilban Water Region (Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton and Heathcote towns and areas).

Since its launch several of the major water projects have been completed. This plan will be revised in 2010.

Waterplan 2055 Extra was launched in 2007 and has detailed plans and actions for the Campaspe, Goulburn, Groundwater, Loddon, Murray and Wimmera systems of the Coliban Water Region.

The Northern Region Sustainable Water Strategy is a 50 year plan. It is the region’s response to future drought, and the uncertainty of climate change.
