The Victorian Government’s Living Victoria Water Rebate Program rewards Victorians for their efforts to be water efficient around the home, garden and small business by providing rebates on a range of water efficient products and appliances.

Home & Garden Rebates

All Victorian domestic households, including those that are self-supplied (not connected to a reticulated water supply) can obtain rebates on eligible products purchased and installed between 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2015.

Households can obtain a rebate on a 5 star water (WELS) rated and at least a 4 star energy rated washing machine, and a swimming pool cover with a roller or reel.

Other eligible products include rainwater tanks connected to a toilet and/or laundry, water efficient showerheads, upgrading to eligible dual flush toilets, garden products and systems for reusing household waste water.

Small Business Rebates

Small Business Rebates are available for small businesses connected to an urban reticulated supply that have 50 full time equivalent or less employees to improve the water efficiency of their business.

Small Business Rebates are available for the purchase and installation of eligible water saving products or services for the serviced property between 19 July 2012 and 30 June 2015
