Definitions
VSD means pumps that are controlled by Variable Speed Drives. These enable the flow rates from the two pump stations to be varied and better controlled which assists the overall operation of the treatment plant.

PAC Dosing stands for Powder Activated Carbon Dosing which is used to treat the water before it enters the treatment plant at certain times of the year when there are potential taste and odour issues with the raw water supply.

UV Disinfection is the use of ultraviolet light to further disinfect and treat water before being supplied to customers.
