> Pipeline Route

At a property level, the works were confined to the existing water supply easement. The new pipelines are within the existing easement corridor, parallel to and offset from the existing pipeline. No works or clearing took place beyond the easement. The creation of additional easements was not required.

> Pipeline Construction

Construction of the Stage 1 pipeline was completed in July 2009. The new pipeline was pressure tested and then joined to the existing pipe in early August 2009. The final works to finish the air and scour valves and surface restoration were completed by the end of August 2009.

Construction of Stage 2A started in November 2009 and was completed in May 2010.

Construction of the Stage 2B works commenced at the western end of the stage in July 2009 and was completed in November 2009 with the exception of the connection to the existing pipeline, which was completed in May 2010.
