> Stage 1
Is the duplication of approximately 5.7 kilometres of pipeline from Sandhurst Reservoir through the Bendigo Regional Park and Coliban Water’s catchment area to Spring Gully Reservoir.
> Stage 2
The approximate 8 kilometres of the Stage 2 pipeline duplication is being designed in the following areas:
Stage 2A: Between Kimbolton-Axedale Road to west of Cannys Road (approximately 2.6 km)
Stage 2B: West of the Axe Creek booster pump station for the Goldfields Superpipe – Bendigo Link project to west of Axe Creek Road (approximately 5.6km)
The remaining sections of the pipeline have been designated as Stage 3 and are anticipated to be duplicated as part of Coliban Water's long-term water security strategy.

> Pipeline Route
Investigation works have been conducted through Stage 1, 2A, and 2B, with confirmation of the proposed route of the new pipeline through the water supply easement corridor.
At a property level, the works will be confined to the water supply easement. The design team has now been able to confirm, after survey verification, that the new pipelines will lie within the existing easement corridor, parallel to and offset from the existing pipeline. No works or clearing will take place beyond the easement. The creation of additional easements will not be required.
