waterMAP

What is a water management action plan (waterMAP)?

All non-residential water users that use more than 10 megalitres are required to register, develop and review a water management action plan or waterMAP but any customer that is interested in improving water conservation can also create a waterMAP.

A waterMAP typically outlines:

  1. Site water use
  2. Identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for water savings
  3. Prepare an action plan to implement water conservation actions; and
  4. Annually report on implementation of water conservation actions.
