When you’re implementing your waterMAP it is helpful to monitor and report water consumption and to compare this to your business activity measure (eg. Kilolitres per tonne of product etc – for more information see Site Water Use. Monitoring your waterMAP is useful because it:

    -  Provides feedback on the success of your water conservation actions;

   -  Helps you identify new leaks;

   -  Helps you identify further opportunities to save water;

   -  Provides incentive or motivation for staff to improve further;

   -  Gives you the opportunity to celebrate your success;

   -  Gives you the background information you’ll need for the waterMAP annual review with
      Coliban Water (where applicable).

 There are a number of ways that you can celebrate the success including:

     -  Morning tea or similar for staff members;

    -  Annual awards for key staff members;

    -  Telling the community – newsletters, media releases;

    -  Applying for savewater!awards
