Rural Season Declaration 2009/2010

> 0% initial allocation for the 2009/2010 rural season

We announced a zero general season allocation on 15 September 2009.

> 30% emergency water supply

A n emergency water supply of up to 30% of licence volume is available to those rural customers that meet the eligibility criteria of this season's Ministerial Qualification. The qualification criteria is the same as for the 2008/09 rural season.

> 40% recycled water allocation for Axe Creek and Ascot rural customers

A recycled water allocation equivalent to 40% of licence volume is available to Axe Creek and Ascot channel system customers under Ministerial Qualification.

> Carted Water Rebates

Customers reliant on the rural system for essential in-house use (excluding drinking water) are eligible to receive up to $500 per licence for water carted between 1 November 2009 and 30 March 2010. Receipts must be submitted prior to 30 April 2010 to obtain the rebate and conditions apply.

To access the rebate customers must provide an original receipt that includes:

> Customer name

> Address of delivery

> Cost and volume of water delivered

Please write your licence number on the receipt. Name and address details must be consistent with licence details.

The rebate will be credited to customer accounts - it is not a cash rebate.

Please note: customers who accept recycled water for the 2009/2010 season are not eligible for this rebate.

> Fixed Charges Rebate and Billing

The Department of Sustainability and Environment has announced 2009/10 water rebates.
