Restricted Channels
Coliban Water has declared some channels and pipelines to be restricted. These channels and pipelines supply water to about 12% of customers and have classed as restricted for one or more of the following reasons:
- Very low delivery efficiency
- High public risk
- Urban encroachment
- Low economic viability
If you are a customer on a restricted channel or pipeline then you may not permanently increase your licence volume. You may temporarily transfer water to and from anywhere else in the system.
