COLIBAN MOVES RESERVOIR WATER TO SAVE EVAPORATION THIS SUMMER11 November 2009
Coliban Water has commenced releasing water from Upper Coliban Reservoir to Lauriston Reservoir to save an estimated 300 megalitres of water from being lost to evaporation this summer.

The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) and CFA fire crews will conduct a two hectare planned burn tomorrow, west of Coliban Water’s Bendigo Water Treatment Plant in Kangaroo Flat.

Approximately 25,000 litres of sewerage spilled into a 1.5 kilometre section of Golden Gully Creek yesterday afternoon as a result of an overflow from a vandalised sewer manhole cover.
