Media Information Statement - Sewer spill in Jobs Gully Road04 December 2009
Approximately 10,000 litres of sewerage spilled into a 300 metre section of Jobs Creek this morning as a result of an overflow from a sewer manhole. There was no water in Jobs Creek at the time of the spill.

Despite above average spring rainfall at Coliban Water’s catchment reservoirs near Malmsbury, spring inflows are still below the ten year average.
Media Information Statement - Sewer spill in North Bendigo27 November 2009
Approximately 600,000 litres of sewerage spilled from a 225mm sewer main in Prouses Road, North Bendigo early today. A small proportion of that spill entered Long Gully Creek. The blockage was a result of tree root intrusion and paper matter in the sewer main.

Specialist divers are working in the complete darkness of the open aerator tanks at Bendigo Water Reclamation Plant this month to replace 13 paddles used to put oxygen into the wastewater.

One of the four pumps at the Echuca Water Treatment Plant will require repairs due to the failure of a regulator component on the pump late yesterday afternoon.
Media Information Statement - Pumping to cease temporarily on Superpipe11 November 2009
Pumping has ceased from the Superpipe as works are undertaken to repair a leak found at the Colbinabbin pump station earlier today. This will not affect supply to Coliban Water and Central Highlands Water.
